FLCCA Families,

I am Angie Canter, and this is my seventh year with FLCCA. I spent two years as a fifth-grade teacher, 3 years as Master teacher, and last year, I moved into the Assistant Principal role.

Prior to being at FLCCA, I served as a literacy coach and a teacher ranging in grades kindergarten through 9th grade.

On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful husband and have two beautiful children: Eliana, 9 and Cohen, 2. We are highly involved in our community through school governance initiatives, our children’s schools, and our church.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to work the students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade this year. Great things are in store for our FLCCA family.

Dear FLCCA Elementary School Families,

I’m thrilled to introduce myself, Kristan Haberstro, your K-5 principal! With over 15 years of experience in public, private, non-profit, and virtual educational settings, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a dedicated teacher, director, lead instructor, head of school, and principal. My diverse journey in education has been incredibly rewarding .

I am eager to embark on this educational journey with all of you and the school districts of Clay, Duval, and Osceola counties. Additionally,  I am committed to earning the trust of the students and families I serve. My sincere goal is to foster positive and meaningful connections within our school community, creating an environment that supports academic growth and provides a fulfilling educational experience for everyone.

I am deeply passionate about equipping students with the foundational skills needed for academic success. Virtual education has played a significant role in my own family’s life as both of my daughter’s, Madison and Myah,  benefited from the individualized instruction that virtual education can provide.  Both girls were able to balance life experiences with their educational achievements, for which I am so proud.

I am excited about this year and am dedicated to contributing to the continued success of FLCCA. I look forward to serving you and working together to make this a fantastic year!

FLCCA Families,

My name is Katie Moore, and I am overjoyed to be an assistant principal here at Florida Cyber Charter Academy. I have worked in education for 14 years, at the school level, district level and now administration. I started my as a math teacher in Kentucky for 5 years before moving to Florida, where I served as a math teacher, coach, team lead, and district instructional coach. I joined FLCCA in 2019, serving as K-8 Master Teacher.

I believe teamwork and communication are pivotal to student success in education and I look forward to partnering with you as you navigate our school. I believe in the need for high expectations and rigorous instruction for all students. My passion is curriculum and instruction.

On a personal level, I am married and welcomed a daughter on Leap Year Day. I love being outdoors. I garden, have lots of animals, and try to live a sustainable lifestyle. In my spare time you catch me at the beach kayaking or paddleboarding.

I look forward to connecting with our K-12 families and assisting in any way possible to help ensure success here at FLCCA!
